As part of obxBrides.com, we recently took part in the Salute to Love give away where they gave one lucky military couple a free wedding on the Outer Banks. Nearly every aspect of the wedding was donated by local wedding vendors, including our contribution of a bridal party mani/pedi and getting her wedding hairstyle just right. It was a lot of fun, and the lucky couple had a beautiful wedding!
Salute to Love
The Salute to Love was only open to military couples and the winner was picked by votes from visitors to the page. John was a member of the U.S. Air Force and Meghan was a member of the Olympic synchronized swim team when they met. After helping see Meghan through a long battle with cancer, he felt it was time to they were married. Lucky for them, their touching story was enough to get the votes and they were chosen as this years winners!
Wedding Vendors Unite
Over 40 different wedding vendors donated their services to making this special day for John and Meghan. It was a huge, beautiful wedding and we’re glad we were able to play a part in the joining of such a lovely couple. We wish them the best of luck on their journey together as husband and wife.
